Hold my Hand Initiative Program

HOLD MY HAND INITIATIVE

The Hold My Hand Initiative is a startup incubation program that equips vulnerable women and young adults in rural areas with the skills and support needed to build sustainable businesses. Many struggle to generate income, with small businesses often remaining in the informal sector. This initiative fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic independence by providing practical training and hands-on guidance.

Empowering Through Skills Development

Participants learn to transform available resources into viable businesses through value addition and product enhancement. Training in basic bookkeeping ensures they can manage and grow their businesses sustainably. These skills help create stable livelihoods that support families and strengthen communities.

Business Growth and Market Access

Beyond skills training, we support participants in market research, product development, and branding to ensure competitiveness. We assist in obtaining Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) certification for credibility and provide marketing support to access both local and global markets.

Fostering Entrepreneurship and Economic Freedom

By nurturing self-reliance, this initiative reduces unemployment and promotes financial independence. Women and young adults who complete the program can sustain themselves and uplift their communities, fostering long-term economic growth. At Binti Mwangaza, we believe financial empowerment is key to gender equality and community transformation.
